We are glad to announce the successful Naming and Delivery of our third 40,000 dwt newbuilding vessel from Namura Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Imari, Japan.
Last Friday, we proudly celebrated this milestone by naming M/V Carpe Diem, which translates to “Seize the Day.”
This marks DryDel’s 13th vessel in our owned fleet and the 3rd delivery from Namura Shipyard within just four months – a true testament to the strength of our partnership and the dedication of our team.
The ceremony was graced by our President and CEO, Mr. Costas Delaportas, alongside several members of our team, who travelled from Athens to Imari to witness this special occasion.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone involved for their hard work and commitment in making this project a resounding success.
We now eagerly anticipate the delivery of our 4th and final newbuilding vessel from Namura in two weeks’ time, which will mark the completion of this significant chapter for DryDel.
Wishing everyone a wonderful start to the week, and here’s to many more achievements ahead!
