With Headquarters in Athens, DryDel is a company that offers full shipping services with in-house commercial / technical / operations / legal / finance departments.
You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills and excel in shipping operations together with experienced colleagues who value honesty, integrity, and respect for one another.
The right candidate will spend the first months working at our Headquarters in Athens, where he/she will be part of our operations team and can be trained properly with a carefully chosen mentor. The experience and knowledge to be gained is unique given the fact that DryDel operates on a daily basis more than 50 ships.
Thereafter, he/she can return in our office in Singapore, where he/she can start the Operations department under the supervision of the Management and their mentor in Greece. Their role will be to coordinate with Greek office and eventually boost the operations department locally and independently.
Opportunities for other commercial roles will always be open for discussion when the right timing comes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping Operations Support: Assist with daily operational tasks related to communication with the ships, arranging relevant cargo documents, ensuring proper vessel scheduling, classification, assisting/coordinating with commercial/chartering department
- Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries related to shipping schedules, proper correspondence etc. Work closely with the commercial team to ensure smooth operations
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist with analyzing different cases before they escalate and working together with the mentor on daily meetings / updates
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disruptions in the shipping process, including delays or general issues, under the guidance of senior staff
- Training & Development: Participate in on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities to gain knowledge and skills related to the shipping industry
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: NTU graduate with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Skills & Attributes:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments
· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
