DryDel Shipping Inc. (formerly known as Meadway Shipping and Trading Inc.), established in 1988, is an international ship management company and one of the world’s leading operators, managing a modern dry bulk fleet of currently 13 Kamsarmax to Handysize vessels. The fleet has an average age of 4 years and a total cargo-carrying capacity of approximately 744,466 deadweight tons (dwt).

With an eye to the future – New Buildings
DryDel Shipping Inc. is active in the continual investment of high- specification and eco-friendly new building vessels.
The company currently oversees the construction of eight new bulk carriers, demonstrating its firm commitment towards continuous fleet expansion and upgrade.
The new buildings have a total capacity of over four hundred ninety-one thousand tons deadweight.
To carry out the construction of our new vessels, we are collaborating with globally recognized shipyards such as Namura Shipbuilding Co Ltd, Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co Ltd, Oshima Shipyard Co Ltd and Shin Kurushima Dockyard Co Ltd.
The newbuilding process is supervised by highly skilled teams selected by DryDel Shipping, who work on-site and report to the new buildings’ team at the company’s headquarters in Athens.

The Operations department makes sure that company’s chartering contracts are accomplished to the satisfaction of the clients and in the most efficient way.
Envisaging strict compliance to all applicable regulations, we thrive in working and commercial ethics.
Our professionals closely guide the Masters of our ships on a daily basis, giving them full assistance, sending instructions to the shipping agents, dealing with the charterers or head owners of the chartered fleet and coordinating with all departments making sure that all ship’s requirements are attended.
Our team in Athens office controls all the operations of our Singapore and Dubai offices, keeping a close liaison throughout each charter or voyage.
Our Superintendent Engineers oversee and support all technical operations of our fleet vessels as well as our new building projects.
Experienced and qualified engineers work around the clock to ensure that each vessel’s hull, machinery and equipment is properly monitored and maintained by using industry best practices and available technical innovations.
A key element of our technical department is its strict adherence to the industry regulations and standards including the adoption of environmental and safety measures.
Our Safety team has developed a comprehensive and proactive approach to safety management, both onboard and ashore. That includes identification of potential hazards, implementation of preventive measures, mitigation when nescessary and management of operational and onboard risks, with the view to eliminate them.
The Company SMS sets out the requirements for onboard and shore-based risk assessment hazard exposure management. It also implements additional measures to promote a ‘no blame’ culture and, at the same time, motivating the staff to ensure they embrace the SMS present and future regulations.

Our fleet, with a cargo capacity of 725,230 mt and an average age of five years, transports all major types of dry bulk cargoes in every key commercial area of the world.
